A law firm dedicated to tax audits and litigation

The firm

Established to provide taxpayers with the strongest possible defense againstadministration , the firm’s practice dedicated to tax audits and litigation is based on a thorough understanding of tax laws and in-depth expertise in tax procedure.

The latter are essential in order to be able to assure taxpayers that the amount of the reassessment proposed by the administration is correctly calculated, and to consider the various actions available to taxpayers to challenge the reassessment (referral to the courts, negotiation with the administration, referral to the Conseil d'Etat to challenge the administration's technical position, etc.).

The firm's expertise enables us to check that our clients have been granted the procedural guarantees provided for by law, and to identify any infringements of their rights during audit procedures. In the event of a violation, it is then necessary to determine the best time for the taxpayer to assert his rights.

In defending taxpayers, the firm also ensures that the provisions applied by the tax authorities respect their fundamental rights and freedoms.

The firm's independence also guarantees strict confidentiality of exchanges between the lawyer and his client, and greatly limits conflicts of interest that could prevent the firm from defending taxpayers.

Some of the firm's successes

Our services

Procedural audit

If you already have sufficient knowledge to defend yourself on the merits of your case, it may be worthwhile to ensure that the procedure initiated byadministration isadministration flawed and that the financial penalties proposed byadministration been calculated correctly.

Challenging theadministration technical positions

If the administration's technical position is set out in an administrative guideline, an appeal may be lodged directly with the Conseil d'Etat. The latter will then indicate whether the administration's position complies with the law. This can sometimes speed up the resolution of disputes with the tax authorities.

Assistance with tax audits

In the event of a tax audit, the presence of an attorney familiar with tax procedure ensures that your rights are guaranteed, thanks to his knowledge of the limits of the authorities' powers. Mastery of the procedure also makes it possible to limit the consequences of well-founded reassessments by considering regularization or negotiation procedures.

The firm also assists clients who are subject to tax raids.

Assistance before the courts

In order to defend taxpayers' interests as effectively as possible, mastery of tax procedure means that arguments can be made before the courts to obtain a discharge of tax reassessments.

The firm also ensures that the law on which the reassessment is based cannot be challenged on the grounds that it does not respect fundamental rights. In this respect, the experience acquired by the firm can sometimes speed up the process of obtaining a decision by procedural means other than the conventional route.

Claiming back unduly paid taxes

If you consider that you have wrongly paid a tax, or if the law on which the tax is based is contrary to a higher standard, the firm can carry out the procedure to claim repayment of the tax and, where applicable, any interest on late payment to which you may be entitled.

Regularization

If you discover that you are in a situation that does not comply with the law, we can help you to regularize your situation and take advantage of specific mechanisms to reduce the amount of interest or penalties claimed.
